Thank you for submitting this community event grant proposal! Unfortunately it has not passed due to the following reasons: - While we love the outdoors-y vibe of this event, bringing a paid celebrity to a community hike does not seem like the best way to use the bulk of the requested funds. - Do you have any information that supports that the entertainers listed (Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, Diplo) can be booked for 4k? And is the idea that they would just hike with the group? We’d like more clarity on the proposed. run of show. - While we’d love to see a Doodles community hike at NFT LA ‘24 we want to ensure the focus & bulk of the funds are spent on the community and as of right now it seems all Inkubator funds would be split between the celebrity guest and the organizer. We would love for you to implement the above feedback and resubmit at your earliest convenience.

What kind of community event are you organizing? community meetup

What's the name of the event? IRL Hike (or) Hiking with the Stars

What can you tell us about the venue and capacity? Outdoors at an undisclosed mountain trail in Hollywood, CA-- unlimited capacity.

Could you break down the anticipated number of attendees? Include the projected percentage of attendees who will be Doodles holders. 10 - 50 OG Doodles w/ +1 = 100

What is the event's run of show? Include any planned activities and entertainment. 2 - 3 hours daytime event, ideally during the week of NFT LA. Event is to feature hiking up beginner trail with special guest celebrity such as Burnt Toast, Dillon Francis Steve Aoki or Diplo. Also features free surprise merch, beverages and snacks for OG Doodles and their guests.

What are you hoping to accomplish through this event? An intimate and cool gathering for locals / visitors to chill with Doodles fam and a special guest celeb. Thesis is this will create unique utility with joyful memories for the community and unquantifiable brand recognition via social media, as the quest will be documented on video.

Please detail the budget plan that accounts for all projected expenses to be assumed by the Inkubator, as well as any other participating parties or sponsors. Be sure to include any potential revenue sources. $4000 - celeb (Inkubator) $1000 - host / organizer (Inkubator) $3000 - merch (sponsor) $1000 - beverage / snacks (sponsor)

What is the marketing and promotional plan to generate demand for the event? Doodles community posting, flyer and/or video, and word of mouth. Narrative suspense for celeb reveal can be is sure to draw attention well.

How will registration / holder check-in be managed? Snapshot will be taken before public announcement (to prevent any flippers) and holders can submit for randomized oracle lotto drawing for NFT airdrop access pass or token gated list.
