Community meetup for Doodles holders during Token 2049 held in Singapore. The event will be hosted at one of Singapore’s Web3 hub, and will be promoted to both the local Doodles community but also any visiting Doodles who are attending the conference. What's the name of the event? Doodles Meetup @ Token 2049

What can you tell us about the venue and capacity? Mandala Club is a beautiful member-only physical club set in a historical shophouse from 1928. You can find more information about the club here (https://mandala.club/)

Within the club, they have a Digital Gallery set within a traditional analog library setting. There are 8 screens that we can utilize to display community Doodles and our animations.

Could you break down the anticipated number of attendees? Include the projected percentage of attendees who will be Doodles holders. Max 50 doodlers and their +1s. We will also extend invites to dooplicator and genesis box owners. If over capacity, priority will be given to OG doodles.

What are you hoping to accomplish through this event? Doodles Singapore has been dead for quite a while. The group was passionate in early 2021 and after some failed attempts to get Doodles core team to spare some attention on Asia community events, eventually the community went dormant and today it barely exists. I am hoping that this is a small step towards reinvigorating the Doodles community in Singapore and reactivating the Doodles’ presence in Asia. The goal is encourage community members to share & display their Doodles, reigniting their passion, imagination, and love for this amazing IP!

What is the marketing and promotional plan to generate demand for the event?

1. Mandala Club is home to a robust community of Web3 founders, funds, exchanges, and other NFT communities. Some notable companies are Coinbase, Spartan Labs, YGG, Amber group, ConsenSys & LongHash. They will be listing our event on their Mandala App which services their 2.5k member base. Some communities that have done their events at Mandala are Bored Ape Yacht Club, Crytopunks, Pudgy Penguins, Kaiju Kings and BBRC
2. Mandala Club will also host quite a number of side events during lead-up to Token2049 with a number of Web3 native communities coming through the building. If part of the payment is made in the form of an OG doodle, Mandala would be willing to display that Doodle on one of their Digital Library screens, live 24/7 from August 11th - September 11th (Token 2049), with RSVP and promotional information about the community event.

Project Lead Additional Remarks

The original idea to organize a Doodle meetup at Token 2049 was proposed by Nir. I would love to combine forces to hold a community meetup at Mandala Club. This proposal is simply an indication of the base level the event would be at, I am actively looking for ways to improve the event plan, and am open to any and all suggestions.

We would need to secure the deposit with the Club to lock the venue in. It would be great to build a relationship with Mandala Club, building a physical clubhouse for our community within South East Asia as they are expanding to Bali, HK, Jakarta, Japan and Bangkok. Mandala Club has offered to alternative payment method in the form of $3,500 + 1 OG doodle which is preferred - as mentioned above, they would prefer this form of payment in order to add to the promotional aspect of the event.

We would like to request for Doodles’ original animation content to be showcased at the event - we would prefer some never-seen-before content if some of it can be timed to be launched in mid-September.

Will any of the core team members / community council be present at the event? Token 2049 is one of the biggest events in Asia and it would be great to have someone speak or be present at the event if possible. I know that other “blue-chip” communities will have core team members present at Token 2049, although that’s not to say that we need to do the same
