Council Feedback Thanks for your submission. This proposal was rejected in its current iteration, but you are welcome to resubmit taking into account the following feedback: Use of ‘Doodles’ is not allowed in the name of the proposed venture The commercial experiment hasn’t been defined. It is understood the concept is to offer consulting services and act as a middle party between talent within the doodles community and projects. But it isn’t clear who these customers are or what the proposed experiment is. One such experiment might be to prove a repeatable mechanism for sourcing and securing new clients by offering a non-commoditized service and earning revenues that could power the proposed business model. Provided details on such an experiment could be defined and proposed, we would be happy to revisit this application.

Description

The business I'm putting for evaluation today is the Doodles Consulting Group, or DCG.

A Web3 Consulting agency run by doodle holders as a true business, incubated by Doodles, with a virtuous business model.

Value for the Doodlebank: 10% of profits will be paid to the Doodlebank, creating a sustainable revenue source.

Value for holders: the DCG will provide doodle holder-first employment opportunities on a freelance basis to deliver client projects, for roles such as : Business Developer, Strategy consultant, Creative director, 3D & Motion Graphic Designer, Smart Contract developer and more.

Value for the general doodles ecosystem: the DCG's success would be an impactful, lasting testament to doodles' leadership in community empowerment through the doodlebank & inkubator program.

I have extensive experience in Web3 consulting & project management, both as an employee and as an agency founder. I bring in a wide network and references such as Alpine, Christian Lacroix, Bialetti, Harto, Mitchell F. Chan and more.

The DCG will be a fully operational company which aims for scalable, repeatable business and will pay out part of the profits to the doodlebank.

Does your proposal introduce a new benefit for OG Doodles? Yes, employment opportunities.

How will your proposal broaden the appeal of Doodles to new audiences? The proposal will broaden the appeal of Doodles to new audiences by :

  1. Offering tangible utility to holders, by granting them priority access to job opportunities in Web3.
  2. Being a flagship success story of the doodlebank, showing the whole Web3 space and beyond the potential of having access to the Inkubator
  3. Serving clients which will contribute to Doodles' reach in the business sphere and possibly, within the target audience of their initiatives

I am operating a profitable similar business at the moment, so the concept is already a successful commercial experiment.

I am now proposing to evolve my current business into an inkubated entity to benefit the community as a whole and scale faster.
