Questionnaire
What unique benefit(s) or experience(s) does this project provide for the holders of the originals Doodles collection? TOUCH GRASS (formally IRL Hike) gives holders the opportunity to experience something intimate and momentous outside the realm of a typical bar or NFT conference, while Los Angeles mountains give an ideal backdrop for Doodles brand. As a bonus, sixty-nine holders receive a custom fanny pack designed by 'Jump From Paper' as a token of appreciation. https://www.jumpfrompaper.com/
How might this project affect the overall value of the original Doodles collection: Goal is to become 'a thing', raising awareness and value of Doodles.
How does this initiative relate to Doodles' brand identity and values? Hanging with frens while taking a healthy hike, simply exemplifies joy. A gathering like this will be a stark contrast to Bored Ape and Degod events. Doodles weave the other way.
What aspects of this project could appeal to the Doodles community? Doodles is an entertainment company, yet their presence in Hollywood has yet to infiltrate on a community level. This sets a stage as a hub for gathering in the world's most prolific entertainment capital of the world. Just for OG's.
If any, what are the projected financial outcomes of this project for Inkubator? The model is meant to bring qualitative value to the community, instead of a quantitative revenue model. At its fundamental core, TOUCH GRASS can be held with little to no funding, so revenue is not relevant. If needed, merchandise can be sold, as mentioned above.
Can you describe the team's skills, past performance and credentials? I have worked in film / music in LA for over 20 years. I produced a documentary on Dogecoin's community at NASCAR in 2014 and my business developed the first crypto gaming app in 2015. I also organized Haackfest, and outdoor music festival tribute to Bruce Haack hosted by Moby, which was featured in the LA Weekly, but never launched. https://www.laweekly.com/electronic-music-pioneer-bruce-haack-was-decades-ahead-of-his-time/
Who are the target audiences for this project? Generally Doodle OG's, but since gathering would be held during NFT LA, people from the space / other projects, could possible spill into equation.
Why is now the right time to fund this project? What does the spending plan look like? Doodles is making big moves, and this feels like the perfect time to foster the brand within the canals of Hollywood. I believe flexability is fundamental for new endeavours such as these, so I propose a plan that can start with little to no funds for the first date, but could also take on funding up to $10k+ should we be able to bring on a special guest celeb.
Could you outline the plan for building awareness for this project once it is launched? I feel low key 'speak easy' marketing may work with a gathering like this. We'd need support from Doodles social channels, whether its word of mouth or media channels.
What is the projected timeline for the completion of this project? Plan would be to test one gathering in 2024, which could turn annual and even internationally over time.
Project Lead Additional Remarks
Should the team be into the concept, we can make this work at any funding level on any date avoiding rain.
Maybe run by Poopie, as we talk from time to time and he appreciates my ideas.
