Event Description:

The Founders Tournament is a casually competitive golf tournament for the Founding Clubs of The Club League.

The event helps connect professionals from various industries through a recreational networking experience, with the goal of fostering cross industry collaboration and innovation.

Look at it as a recreationally focused professional incubator.

Event Location:

Brookside Golf Club, LA

Venue Description:

Brookside Golf Club, accessible easily for out of state travel, capacity 72 individuals (8 minimum doodles, potential for 16-20+

Event Schedule:

Provide the planned schedule for the day of the event.

August 8th - 9am to 2pm 9am: Golf Tournament 12:30pm: Post Tournament Meal and Cocktail/Awards Reception

August 9th (if Option 2 is chosen)

Doodles Club Team dinner at location TBD

Logistics

Registration Process:

Describe how attendees will register and check-in for the event.

Will use secure payment portal on Club League website for players to sign up.

Club Teams can consist of 4-8 players (if a club team has additional demand, spots can be added).

Scramble format.

Expected Registrants:

Attendance Details 40-72 participants

Detailed Budget:

Provide a detailed breakdown of how you intend to spend the budget. After the event, the expenditures will have to be substantiated with invoices/receipts and any unused funds must be returned to the Inkubator.

If approved the Inkubator would be given the Presenting Sponsor spot, which is the top sponsor tier for the Founders Tournament.

Presenting Sponsor - $7500 x 1: Branding featured prominently in all event marketing materials and post event content. Product (if applicable) included in gift bags. Logo on any event merch.

Option 1 for direct benefit to Doodles Club Team members: Subsidized ticket cost.

Or

Option 2: Dinner for Doodles Club Team members on August 9th.

Inkubator funds would be helping to subsidize event costs including core event expenses, staff, and of course the aforementioned enhancements for Doodles Club Team members.

Marketing

Marketing Plan:

Direct outreach to communities via Brand collaborations.

Podcasts and Social Media promotional campaigns.

Direct outreach to various Group Chats and networks of Founding Clubs.

Materials:

Nothing confirmed, but once primary costs are covered additional revenue would be used to enhance event and provide more value to all event attendees.

Content Capture:

Funding dependent, we plan to hire a video crew to document the event while also having content challenges for attendees to participate in to produce content from the perspectives of attendees.

The Club League aims to exist within the Recreational Networking niche, providing structured competitive formats for different social clubs from unique industries. The goal is to connect folks across industries via recreation with the objective of inspiring cross-industry collaboration, and innovation as a result of that.

The plan is to have 4-8 Founding Clubs for the initial season in 2025, and to launch via Founders Tournament in August 2024.

The Club League also intends to expand into different sports and recreational formats over time. Long term vision is to use Club League programming to reshape the way people network and collaborate.
